I am very pleased to honor the 2019 Horace McDonell Physics Fellows. They are (from left to right:)

  • Thomas Danza (Class of 2021) who will be work with Professor Sean Bentley on non-linear optics
  • Zafir Momin (Class of 2020) who will be work with me on laser cooling and trapping
  • Gabi Vidad (Class of 2021) who will be work with me on modeling transportation and environmental concerns.

The Horace McDonell Fellowship is an amazing paid internship in one of Adelphi’s research labs. These amazing students will use this opportunity to propel their careers. I am looking forward to working directly with Zafir (who is also part of the Hire a Panther program) and Gabi.
