Our spring break is starting on Monday. Normally, I would be in my research lab everyday getting caught up on a laundry list of work that has been building since January. Whelp! Do I really want to? NYTimes just said “Governor Cuomo asked President Trump to deploy the Army Corps of Engineers to retrofit military bases and college dormitories into temporary medical centers.” It sounds like College Campuses are the last place you will want to be. Who knows? I sure as hell don’t.

I am likely staying home all week. My daughter’s school was cancelled. The skinny last night was that the Coronavirus was out in the community in the town we live in, so we are electing to play it safe.

So we are all going to be home. I want to make sure that work gets done and we get time to hang out as a family. So we had a family meeting this morning and everyone made a schedule for themselves for the week. This way I will not feel guilty while I work or feel guilty while I play. I encourage ya’ll to do the same.

Office hours are from 11-12 and 2-4 daily – not just for students. Anyone who wants to chat, I am here for you! Please make an appointment via email.
