The world is upside down! As Easter came close, we were sick. It wasn’t fun and we had zero energy. So we reached out to the Easter Bunny and worked out a deal, Easter would be delayed a week.

One week later, we are continuing down the path to recovery. Colleen finally spend more time out of bed than in bed today. That is the first time in approximately two weeks. I am doing great. Thought I was having a relapse yesterday, but after some medicine I am on cloud 9.

We had a wonderful Easter too! Easter baskets, Chocolate, Easter Egg Searches, and for something different we had a camp fire. We made some hamburgers and potatoes on the fire. It was amazing! Rosie and I played some football. And we got to hang out in our backyard for 2 hours. It felt like a great day. I am glad we postponed Easter this year for a week.

I am sure my more religious (those who are christian) friends and family will be appalled at this. In a world that is upside down, I think you got to be flexible. When the rules aren’t working in your favor, change them. The point of Easter is celebrate your spirituality, family, and/or chocolate eggs given by 6ft 300 lbs Easter Bunny.

You know I thought it would have been a problem. It wasn’t. It was a great day. I’d show you pictures but, well, we all look like we have been sick for two/three weeks and I think Colleen would be happy if I didn’t.

If you don’t like the rules, change them.
