This was just nuts…terrifying…insane…AND…FUN!

A few months ago Rosie pulled out her skateboard and showed some enthusiasm in it. She’s 10. I was like if you are still interested in it a couple of weeks from now, I’ll get us new skateboards and will skate with you. HA! That is a good bet. I say things like that all the time. How many times does a 10 year-old keep up with something like that. Well, she kept up with it and demanded I keep my promise. So reluctantly I did it this week. She got a custom board and I got a long board that is good for LARGE people. (I didn’t have a choice with the design, but it is growing on me.)

I quickly learned I need a helmet – I had a nasty fall. But honestly I haven’t felt that amazing and free in a long time. It was so comfortable and easy to ride. Here is 3 seconds of me riding the board on tiktok.

I am working my way to the fleetwood mac skateboard tiktok.

Here is another one of me being silly.
