For the past month, Colleen (my wife) and Rosie (my daughter) have taken over the playroom. The door has been shut. There were loud and strange noises! The smell was so bad we had to move my daughter’s bed from one side of the house to the other side. Windows were open and it was cold. What the crap are they doing in there? The only thing I knew, I wasn’t allowed in.

On Christmas eve I discovered that the two had made me a desk! A beautiful, useful, amazing desk! It comes in pieces so I can move it around and fix it the way I want it. It was the best, most amazing, thoughtful gift ever!

Here is the part that will blow you away! Its their first piece of furniture they have ever made. They will be taking orders on Etsy – hehe. Darn spiffy if you ask me. Best advice I can give anyone is marry someone brilliant, beautiful, and a badass. I did!

I am trying to get Colleen to start her own post-COVID makerspace. She is amazing at crafts, helping people, and learning. I just walked around the house and grabbed two pictures of her creations. (There are many many many more.)
