Its that time of the year again, the first week in February! Guaranteed to bring ya a Nor’easter and a crap ton of snow. I hope all my peeps out there are enjoying their day off – assuming you are in fact getting the day off.

My day started out with work. I attended two very nice presentations of amazing undergraduate research done at Adelphi University, including the work of Gabi Vidad.

Of course then Rosie took me away from my computer for some father-daughter snow time. It was a blast. Snowball fights, snowwoman building, etc. When I came in Colleen made some hot cocoa for both me and Rosie. I started to go back to work. Rosie objected. So I stopped working. Ultimately I got some family time. When we were done Rosie went back to painting, Colleen started writing, and I took a 2 hour nap.
