Yesterday I found out that former Adelphi Student and Wright Research Lab Team Member will be going to Georgia Tech/Emory school of medicine for a PhD program in Biomedical Engineering! Woo Hoo! After Kidan’s sophomore year she transferred to The University of Arkansas where she majored in Biomedical Engineering.

Kidan was a Horace Mcdonell Fellowship winner during her first year at Adelphi and worked in my lab that summer. We had a lot fun and did a lot of physics! I am happy Kidan was on my team and very proud of her and her journey.

Every couple of months I get an update email from her! I think professors live off of the good will in update emails. I certainly love Kidan’s emails (and one’s from all my former students).
