Unbelievable!

I wrote this blog post a couple of weeks ago after a great trip in Erie PA.

Notice at the bottom of the page was a note from the local newspaper in Erie, PA. They were interested in publishing it in the local paper.

I agreed. And it went up on Go Erie Last Tuesday. (Go Erie is website version of the Erie Daily Times.)

I thought it was a done deal. Just another cute story on their online newspaper. Then my friend sent me a picture of the Sunday Times this week in the main section of the paper. My dad couldn’t believe it.

Blog Post in the Erie Sunday Times

There is even more cool things about all this. I live in Smithtown, NY, another neat place. Today I got an email from someone who lives in Erie who was recently visiting Smithtown. They were reaching out after they read my story. They were boasting about Smithtown’s local bakery (Alpine) and grocery store (Guiseppe’s). Funny how small the world is. And Alpine bakery is seriously one of the best places on Earth.

    I CAN’T resist: It’s downright E(e)rie how quickly your story spread…

It was a great post and read, though! Enjoy what’s left of vacation!
