Its about 8pm and i am chilling with my students waiting to eat at a place called dinosaur bbq – scratch that – line too long. I am in Rochester, NY.

we did something almost unthinkable in a Covid-filled 2021, we hopped into a bus and drove to Rochester, NY for lab tours. Today we visited Laboratory For Laser Energetics (LLE). Tomorrow we are visiting U of R.

Today has been amazing! the folks at LLE were so kind to us. it was just an amazing day. i cant wait for tomorrow.

Way too much driving though. Good to be chillin. time for a burrito and some football.
