When I woke up this morning I was worried I was feeling my usual April self, icky! I love this time of year. I love the flowers. I love that it is getting warmer. I don’t love the allergies and how busy the schedule is. Was this icky feeling just allergies? IDK, I was sore to my core. Even my fingers were sore.

In the new COVID age, I try to play it safe. Any feeling of a cold, I want to go get tested. I have an appointment in a few hours. I decided that I was ill enough that I should stay home. It really pains me to do this. Pre-2020, I would have laughed at someone who suggested that I not go to work on a day like today. In a lot of pain, cranky, headache, runny nose, sore throat, stomach ache, … sounds like a regular Wednesday to me. But I want to be a team player and I want other people to be team players too.

Strangely it was nice to teach virtually again. I miss my IPad and how you can go between the internet and different colors so quickly. I didn’t miss looking at my students names. I love to be teaching to people again.

Hopefully the test is negative and I just needed a day to chill.

I did get to make some tiktoks
