I am so happy to have been invited to give my “Be a Shark” workshop at CCNY today. Actually it was a hybrid of the talk I gave at Physcon and the APS Career Mentoring Fellows talk from 2021. I am spending some more time building this talk out and making it as useful as possible. So if you or your students are looking for a *phun* physics career talk, look me up.

They were such a great group of students and asked some awesome questions! The discussion even kept going out into the hallway after the event. I didn’t even have time to do my activity, they had so many awesome questions. (Which is perfect!) We just kept discussing. It is nice to see how active their physics club is. They have a great club. I loved their common science study room.

That was my first time on CCNY’s campus. Its pretty neat.

I got a nice shot out from their Instagram account:

I can’t believe they made this super cute poster for this event. It is awesome!

Here are some photos taken by Charanjot Singh (President of CCNY physics club). Definitely supporting SPS zone 2.
