Tonight we had a boy scout troupe in to see the stars, planets, and come down for a lab tour. These first graders were amazing! They asked me so many questions about planets and lasers my head is still spinning. And they were great questions! College students you have to step up your game, these kids are awesome.

They liked the planets and LOVED the laser lab. They were so excited. I joked with the parents that I am going to have to sign them up. One of the dads was lobbying for a scholarship. Never too early to starting about that. HAHA!

After that event, we had about 20-30 college students come up and hang out with the telescope. We looked at the planets and whatever Messier objects I could find. The telescope was acting up so it was a tough night, but we got to see a bunch.

A special thanks to Katie Gifford for the help and leadership. Katie, you are 100% amazing at your job! Thank you!
