This weekend my family headed up to Brimfield antique market in Massachusetts. It was a long drive but it was worth it to see all the stuff one can buy. After seeing “Flea Market Flip“, Colleen wanted to go check it out! Luckily, we realized its an antique and not a flea market and didn’t buy anything – SMART!

Here is a picture of me with Frog Horn Leg Horn.

Somewhere between going through steam punk fish sculptures (for $1800) and buttons from former presidential elections (I really wanted to find a Bob Dole button for my friend Jim), I came across this old issue of TV Guide.

What an on point question from 1954. “Will we pay for our TV shows?” $$$$! In 2023 the answer is a most definitely YES. We just got done going through our streaming services to figure what we need and don’t need. Netflix, Prime, Paramount, Disney Plus, Hulu, etc etc. What about Cable TV? And then we need a big screen TV, a phone, an Ipad, etc etc to watch all of these shows. We spend so much money on TV shows. What an interest tibbet of history? I am sure the answer in 1954 was most definitely NO – except for a pricey color TV! Funny how all that works!
