I am super excited to be at the Society of Physics Students Zone 3 meeting in Jersery City, NJ at Hudson County Community College. They have an amazing zone meeting set up for students. They have trips planned and panels. I am really excited for the poster session. The club officers and faculty members at HCCC are amazing…Literally the event started by acknowledging how one of the physics professors was named professor of the year for the school!

They invited me to give the Be a Shark talk. It was amazing experience. The students were wonderful. After doing the Be a Shark game, one student said “I can keep playing this all day long.” I love having fun with students and hearing their ideas! They always have amazing ideas!

Unbelieveably, the next Be a Shark workshop, the SPS Zone 2 meeting, will have next week in Rochester, NY. [Shameless plug] Does your organization want to invite me to come speak at your event? I am happy to spread the shark love! [\Shameless plug]

Here is some feedback from the workshop, workshop takeaways:

Physicist need more humanities and empathy training ++ course on ethics.

Be a Shark!

Being able to communicate an idea immediately and really express me intentions/motivations

Being Relentless, Not Quitting

I loved the game – it should be added to some sort of personal development curriculum.

Fun Game!

Don’t be Shy!

Very good workshop

personal interactions are important.
