The Sigma Pi Sigma Induction and end-of-the-year celebration is Adelphi Physics at its finest.  This year was doubly so with the added bonus of the industry board meeting.

A special thanks goes to Professor Sean Bentley, Anne Cowan and Grace Aragona-Hernandez for planning these dual events.  Professor Bentley loves this event and I appreciate all of the care he puts into it every year. It was wonderful to hear Dean Vincent Wang, Professor Kevin Liang, and Professor Neda Naseri speak!

Special thank you to Samantha Gordon for her Keynote address titled The Ripple Effect of Physics Education.  It really hit home with me!  Physics education is important to our department and it is one of many of the destinations for our graduates. 

A special thanks to Dave Biersach, Fabian Chacon, and Sergiy Nazarenko for being such vital members of our industry board. 

And of course, a warm congratulations goes out to all of our students, seniors, and award winners.
