This was fun. I made this silly tiktok about my trip last week.

Did you know that I am interviewing physicists around the world to see what they do for a living to make a cool guide for physics students. Its the Cosmic Pathways Career Project. Check it out here! https://cosmicpathways.org/cosmic-pathways-physics-careers-project/ ITeachPhysics

I had a great visit to the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo Canada. We did some career discussion with a few junior scientists and an interview for the Cosmic Pathways Career Project. The list of interviews is growing! (We have included an increasing number of countries involved in the project.) After the Canada trip, I headed to Erie, PA for my BFF 50th birthday party – that was a hoot.

Tomorrow we are heading to BNL on eastern Long Island! I am getting to sit down with so many amazing people! I am really enjoy this project.

One really cute thought about the weekend. I was in Waterloo, which is near London, On. As a kid growing up in Erie, PA we always listened to London, On radio stations. They had better radio, especially after one of the cool local radio stations shut down (and the other one became overly corporate). This weekend, I was driving in Ontario listening to Erie, PA’s radio stations in-between audiobooks. It was a pi phase shift!
