Rain or Shine Adelphi Physics ROCKS!

Tonight, we had the whole department on display for prospective college students. It was AWESOME! We had a number of students and faculty come out to talk with the high school students and showcase the great work they are doing. It was a hoot!

We did lab tours, conversations with students, and hands on experiments.

Normally I take 1000s of pictures of events like this, but since the prospective students are still “prospective”, I decided to put the camera away and just focus on the event. (Always a good idea!)

Tonight I got to run across another alumni, Carissa Giuliano, who came to speak to the prospective students. Thank you Carissa! And thank you to Amanta, Katie, Mateo, Matthew, Paul, and Shalauni (hopefully I didn’t miss any of the students). You are all really wonderful and your work is appreciated. Also thank you to Professors Bentley and Rao. And a thank you to our hidden superstar (aka lab coordinator) James St. John.
