I do like to do the ice breaker thing during the first class. Tell me your name, major, etc, and then always a silly question such as what would be your super power? Today’s question was tell me something about you that is lame.

There were some pretty good lame student activities from liking to read textbooks to students liking to watch the Bachelorette. But today’s misunderstanding was really funny.

Student: I am obsessed with Drake.

Me: Drink?

Student: I am obsessed with Drake.

Me looked confused

Student: Drake

All I heard was Drink though. I thought I was listening to some Impractical Jokers skit or something.

Me: I like drink too, what kind of *drink* are you obsessed with?

Eventually we figured it.
