The story of the good goose is a reminder to slow down and pay attention to your surroundings. The good goose tells us that we are moving too quickly in a world that is moving too fast.

Do you need a reminder to slow down and pay attention to the world around you?

While I have no evidence for the following statement, I believe that the good goose gets its power from the Universe directly and maybe even be a profit. Proof? How do you know something like that? All I know is that when you cross path with the good goose it is important to stop and reflect on life. Ask yourself, how fast are you going? Are you in control of your life, your money, or your car?

Once long ago, I didn’t listen to the good goose. Driving fast on a foggy day all was well. Then the goose, suddenly, from out of NOWHERE, was in front of me and told me to STOP. I did. The goose lived another day. He walked away. But then I didn’t listen to him. I started going just as fast as soon as he was safely away. The day ended in diaster. The worst car accident of my life happened later that day. That is what happens when you don’t listen to the good goose. LISTEN to the good goose!

Today while driving, the good goose came in front of me. I stopped and took a break. I reflected on the omen that was the good goose. I was feeling like I was tumbling out of control. Too much was going on. Too much! I just needed to stop and reflect. In reality everything was going great! If I just went slow and steady everything would work out just fine. LISTEN to the good goose. GO SLOW!

I continued home with new focus. As I got of the Sunken Meadow parkway I saw a terrible accident that happened minutes before. The first responders were still arriving. I hope the people in the accident are well. However, I believe that accident was meant for me, had I not listened to the good goose. Thank you Good Goose!
