I was motivated by my modern physics education-focused students to use oppertunities to break up my class to keep the students interested. So I started playing Mahna Mahna whenever the students had some time to think about a question I asked them. (like playing the jeopardy! song while people are asked a question)

I don’t know why? I was loading the skateboarder Phet ap and I thought they needed back ground music. Then I started adding music to the class. Something I have done before, but never this silly. The exit tickets from the class were great.

The one about never playing the song again was funny!

Whenever I hear this song it reminds me of Noelle Grey; her and her partner pulled off the best/funniest swing dance routine to this song. She was my swing dance mentor and good friend. I have been blessed to have been surrounded with amazing people in my life that are truly one-of-a-kind and interesting. She passed away a few years ago far too young.
