This morning was tough.

I woke up. I found we had 5 inches of snow. The Bean’s school was canceled. I knew Adelphi would be open. Do I come in?

I have class today, a dentist appointment, and the holiday party.

Whenever you move it takes hard work to stay on top of dentist and doctor’s visits. I didn’t want to miss.

My poor students have had such a tough semester. They lost a faculty member, there was some confusion about who would teach their class before I took it, and I traded some online classes for in-person classes because I did some traveling for work. So I didn’t want to want to make them have another in personal zoom class. Especially a week before finals.

Holiday party is today. My physics team is so amazing, I do want to sit down with them and celebrate their work! I am not sure if I have time to go though. I might just lock myself in my office and get caught up on work.

Anyways I decided to trek in after an hour of shoveling. Seen a car or two wipe out and a couple of trunks over turned. BUT I don’t live in Erie, PA and I had five inches instead of five feet. (Go to the bottom for a quick Erie update)

My house looked pretty this morning!

My friend sent the following text

HAHAHA! That is what living in Erie is like. Oh man. That is tough. Erie is a bueatiful place – in July and August. Here is the view out my aunt’s window. She lives in Findley Lake, NY – 20 minutes from Erie and twice the snow!
