College Students!

Oh boy the stress is high! Here is some finals advice for you.

1. Eat Regular and Sleep regular. Don’t suddenly stay up to til four in the morning every day and try to live off Taco Bell. Once in a while is fine, but you got to make sure you get good sleep and food. If you don’t have good “gas” or rest, all the studying won’t matter.

2. Don’t just watch videos. Be active in your studying. That might be flash cards. In physics that means doing a lot of problems without the book/friend/internet to help. Everything is easy when you read it (or watch it) and it is already done for you.

3. Make a project plan for when you are going to work on each topic/class. Spread it around too. Don’t just cram.

4. Contact your professors with questions that you HAVE ALREADY THOUGHT ABOUT! Ask your professors for advice for taking the exam.

5. Have a fun goal in mind for once you are done. Make sure you act on it. I am going to see Gladiator II.

6. Take a couple of days off and then start applying for internships, REUs, and jobs. Ask your adviser for help.
