New Cosmic Pathways video drop by Natalie Ion!

I can’t tell you how proud I am of Natalie Ion. She is a high school junior student at Northshore High School in Long Island NY.

She came to my lab eager to learn about experimental physics. But she was a new high school student and still had to learn the basics. And boy did she!! In just one year, she went from learning how to code to controlling physical objects with genetic algorithms. This year she is going to be teaching me how machine learning works! I love it when I learn from my students.

Follow this girl’s career closely. She is going to be a superstar!

Not to brag or anything, but I got the best high school students doing research with me! Thanks, all of you, for being on my team.

I understand that Natalie is quite the tennis player too.
