Gaining Momentum at Mineola!

Special thanks to Alyssa, Carolina, Zach and Dr. Gysbers.  We were at Mineola today working with the 11th and 12th grade regent students.  We brought in our airtracks and did our conservation of momentum lab that we do with the college students.

Mineola is one of our most prized high school partners.  Carissa Giuliano, super star high school teacher and Adelphi adjunct professor, is one of the leaders on the PhysTEC grant that supports Lab for Kids!  Their other physics teachers, Dr. Maria Navarra and Matthew Musumeci are pretty amazing too!  It is great to see such a wonderful department.  And it is good for our future teachers to interact with these super stars.  So much good advice was given.

I love Mineola!   And I love this picture of Carissa Giuliano with the ruler.
