We had another wonderful Lab for Kids day at Bayside High School in Queens.  Alyssa, Andrew, Anjali, Daniel, Kylie, and I were there in full force.

The thing is, Bayside has a lot of students and a lot of those students take physics.  So, when we go to Bayside, we work!  And I love it.  Its one of those days where at the end of the day you feel good because you made a difference and did something.  I definitely got my steps in for the day.

I really love the Bayside teachers.  I think they have it down.  Of course, they are challenging physics teachers who want to get their students to do amazing things, but you can tell that they love physics and it translate to the students.  I really enjoyed talking to them today.  They really have passion for science, teaching, and their students.  I appreciate it.

Plus, they brought me an egg salad bagel sandwich and a cool tee shirt.  ‘nough said on that front!

This week was a lot.  We did THREE lab for kids days.  Each of the days was a full high school day of teaching.  And then I had to come back to campus and teaching my evening class.  We had another family hospital emergency (again all is well) and a trip to Western Pennsylvania.  I am in this weird state of being so tired I can barely move and so jazzed up excited about physics I am manically running around making physics fun.

Next week is looking to be a normal week and I am looking forward to it.
