I love that Physics Today still comes out in actual print. I always leave it for students and visitors to browse through. It is such a great way to keep up with physics from around the world.  Go Physics Today!

This month our article is in there.  “Undergraduate students grapple with an uncertain future.” [I wish the topic was happier.] This is the result of a multiyear project started by Brad Conrad over 10 years ago. Shannon Clardy and I joined along the way. Our goal has been and continues to be to work with AIP, SPS, and a team of amazing volunteers to throw the most amazing Sigma Pi Sigma Physics Congress (i.e., physics conference/party for college students). This conference helps students think about the big issue questions: about science, about their careers, about the world.  It is amazing.

But also, we used this opportunity to listen to what these young movers, shakers, researchers, inventors, and entrepreneurs at college level need to be successful.
