Everything in life is going great. I really can’t complain. But of course, I will. Today’s blog post is about things that fry my goat!

  1. Kalshi calls what they do “trading”. It’s gambling. Ugh. I don’t mind a little gambling, but what is happening with online gambling is too far, we need more restrictions. Calling it “trading” is some big brother 1984 doubletalk. Legal online gambling is upsetting (~3% of people have majors gambling problems), calling it “trading” fries my goat!
  2. I am reading Biological War A Scenario. It is so upsetting. A disease released is a special form of plague. The author uses evidence from COVID to predict what would happen. Spoiler alert: It isn’t good. The fact that any would make such a thing really fries my goat.
  3. Traffic fries my goat! Why don’t we make a universal agreement that when you are stuck in traffic, you park in line, turn your car off, talk a little cat nap (or read), and go when it is your turn? Isn’t so stupid that we line our selves up like a pace lap in NASCAR, jockeying for position, weaving in and out, protecting our spot as if our life depended on it for 20 minutes to go 1 mile?

Time to date myself, I want to be Andy Rooney so bad. HAHAHAHA!
