So I have been reading this wonderful book, “In a Flight of Starlings: The Wonders of Complex Systems” by Nobel Prize winner Giorgio Parisi. He talks a lot about how physicists (and other folks) often don’t show their messy through process as they work through a problem. I thought that I would try to teach my messy problem-solving approach in class. Not the one that I publish (which has all the dead ends, curveballs, and four-letter words removed), but the real one. So, I have been reading a lot of environment science books and I came across this interesting model called Daisyworld which basically shows how biology can have an effect on the global temperature. So, I created these websites to show how I might try to do the model. Again, all the embarrassing crap is deliberately put in. (though at the end I ran out of juice.)
